BACK INTO BLOGGING
Welcome back, whomever you might be. I feel like a fallen Catholic,which I am. and want to ay,"Bless me readers, for I have sinned, it's been 2-l/2 nmonths since my last blog." A combination of computer failure, going to festivals out of town and simply inertia kept me from blogging on a regular basis.
But, for whatever it's worth, I'm back.
I journey down to the Woods Hole Fom Festival today, and I will report on that, as I will on the two festivals I went to in Toronto in June. The next blog will be on the very well programmed Maine International Film Festival, which just ended last week. And, of course I've seen lots of movies, mostly bad, and will report on developments on the locsl scene.
I hope to maintain the same degree on candor and considered, if sometimes undiplomatically expressed, opinion. As one ocal filmmaker responded to my comments on his film, "I thank youfor your blunt, but honest opinion." I hope that will continue.
