Local Sightings developed a national distribution strategy for 100 DAYS, a film about the Rwandan genocide, obtaining screenings in 20 locations in the US.

STEVE CROKE, new filmmaker
Local Sightings created marketing & financing strategies to help obtain completion money for filmmaker’s first feature, THE BUSKER.

BRAD ANDERSON, well-known independent filmmaker whose films have gotten festival acclaim and national distribution.
Local Sightings helped launch Brad’s first film feature, THE DARIEN GAP; reviewed an early draft of the script and organized focus group screenings to hone his second film, NEXT STOP WONDERLAND, which was picked up by Miramax after the 1997 Sundance Film Festival; and after the filmmaker was away several years in NYC, Local Sightings reconnected him to the Boston film community helping him find a production company and line producer for his third feature, SESSION 9.

MITCHELL ROBBINS, independent film producer
Local Sightings organized focus group screenings of pre-final versions of film and obtained a screening at the Woods Hole Film Festival for the feature XX-XY, which was accepted to the Sundance Film Festival in 2003.

ANDREW MUDGE, local independent filmmaker
Local Sighting reviewed the script for the short, PERFECT GOOSIES, providing valuable feedback, helped to get a production crew and developed a film festival strategy. The film won several awards in festivals and gained notice nationally leading the director to win a $1MM prize to put towards a feature film.

Local Sightings developed a marketing strategy for the short film, WINTER PEOPLE.

Local Sightings executive produced her first short, NIGHT DEPOSIT; and provided advice concerning film festivals and obtaining distribution for first feature, BREAK A LEG.

Local Sightings reviewed the script, helped the production get key crew members (line producer), developed a festival strategy and helped obtain screenings at several festivals and art house venues nationally for the feature film MADE UP (Tony Shaloub acted and directed and Brooke Adams acted).

Local Sightings developed a rough cut strategy and marketing strategy for SWIMMING, a feature film starring Lauren Ambroise (Claire on 6 Feet Under); was instrumental in getting the film into the Nantucket Film Festival and obtaining good press for the film in the Boston market which enabled the film to obtain wider national distribution.

Local Sightings represented her documentary, IDITEROD – A FAR DISTANT PLACE, at the American Independent Film Market in NYC, creating a strategy to market the film to distributors, which led to the film obtaining a distribution deal for TV and Cable sales.
